Internal expertise, external scientific excellence
Complementary expertise
Scientific collaborations enable us to investigate questions that require specific technologies or expertise not necessarily available internally.
They provide access to advanced experimental models, innovative analytical approaches and specialized scientific knowledge. This allows us to explore the biological effects of our ingredients in greater depth and to strengthen the scientific understanding supporting their development.
Connecting with innovation
Collaborating with academic teams and innovative start-ups also allows us to remain connected to emerging technologies and new scientific approaches.
These partnerships create opportunities to explore innovative research fields and transform new scientific knowledge into future opportunities for cosmetic innovation.
By combining internal expertise with external scientific excellence, our collaborations help us explore new territories and strengthen the scientific foundations of cosmetic innovation.
Our current collaborations
Advancing the understanding of silicium biology
One of our research collaborations focuses on improving our understanding of the biological and pharmacological effects of silicon-derived ingredients in skin cells. This work is helping to generate new insights into the cellular mechanisms associated with silicium biology, and a scientific publication based on this research is currently in preparation.
Exploring innovative models of the hypodermis
A second collaboration with a local innovative start-up has allowed us to investigate the effects of one of our ingredients using an advanced cultured hypodermis model.
This partnership provided new insights into the interaction between cosmetic ingredients and adipose tissue biology. The results of this work were presented as a scientific poster at an international cosmetic science congress in 2024.
